Our client is a highly professional dealership that sets the benchmark for its brand. They are seeking a talented, loyal and committed Workshop Controller to join their dealership in Melbourne’s western suburbs. Reporting to the Service Manager, your ability to recognise systems and procedures that increase the efficiency and productivity in the workshop will be pivotal. Your role will also include the accurate & efficient management of the daily workshop schedule and maintaining on-time delivery. You will successfully identify technician strengths and weaknesses to allocate work effectively as well as organising sublet work efficiently and ensure warranty procedures are adhered to.
Applicants for this role must have previous workshop controlling experience, gained in a high volume franchised dealership service department. You must be switched on, well organized and able to prioritise work. Your position is pivotal to client satisfaction, especially through ensuring vehicles are ready on time and by maintaining ongoing communication with customers. This is at times a customer facing position and as such, candidates are required to be able to communicate at any level, and be presentable at all times.
Salary will consist of a base of approx. $60k plus Super, however, incentives are generous and encourage you to manage this department as if it were your own (OTE $80 - $100k).
