Our client is on the Fortune Global 500 list and a global market leader in automotive. They recently have set up Australia for a planned expansion program through Oceania. With the Australian headquarters based in Sydney, our client requires a Melbourne based Dealer Network Manager who can align themselves with the strategies, goals, and objectives of this forward-thinking organisation. They view every member of their team as an extension of their business and a representative of the Company’s vision and mission. Further to this, they seek professionals who are INNOVATIVE, ENTREPRENEURIAL and RESULTS ORIENTED. As a Dealer Network Manager, you will be accountable for achieving the goals of Network Development and deliver the dealer business model (major distribution channel, customer, financial information, etc.) to the local dealers in Victoria. You will gain a thorough understanding of dealership mindset and behaviours and influence the process of continuous improvement.

YOU'LL NEED
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing dealers / distributors in the Australian market. You have a thorough understanding of dealer franchise agreements, dealer network benchmarking and customer satisfaction activities in sales and aftersales. You will have outstanding communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to facilitate dealer meetings and liaise with other departments - i.e., sales and marketing - on commercial activities. You will be commercially aware with strong planning and analysis skills. These will assist you to scan new industry movements, develop market intelligence and identify training needs and business direction that will overall support the dealer management system to achieve operational excellence.

THE OFFER
Remuneration will be heavily based on the successful candidate’s experience and skill set. A retainer from $90 to 110k + super is on offer, plus car and a performance-based bonus of 10% - 25% of retainer also applies.
