Our client is a family business in operation for nearly half a century. To keep up with demand they now seek quality specialised Workshop Manager to assist in their reputable Service Department. The expectation for this role is for the incumbent to be the “right hand person” to the Service Manager. Your ability to recognise systems and procedures that increase the efficiency and productivity in the workshop will be pivotal. The positioned involves the accurate & efficient management of the daily workshop schedule, maintaining an on time delivery. You will identify the team’s strengths and weaknesses in order to allocate work effectively. From time to time you will assist with customer service usually discussing the best solution for their vehicles.

YOU'LL NEED
To be considered for this role you must have dealership experience as a Workshop Controller or in a leadership capacity. You will have the qualities of a leader, sufficient automotive industry experience with relevant qualifications, that will allow you to assist diagnose and provide solutions. This position does require superior time management, enthusiastic interpersonal skills with a ‘can-do’ attitude, sharing company philosophies of valuing people.

THE OFFER
A competitive salary is on offer and will be negotiated on experience. Other incentives may apply that include a car or car allowance.
