Our client is a heavy vehicle dealership based in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne and is part of a very large group. They now require a Service Manager to join their leadership team. This position is an integral management role responsible for what will be a high performing service operation. As a Service Manager you will play a key role shaping significant growth and expansion for this organisation. This position is responsible for creating a consistent service experience for all customers. The role will also adhere to manufacture processes and oversee the administration of warranty, customer escalations and the internal workshop.
In order to be considered for this role you will have a proven track record of success in managing a high volume service department. You are totally confident in your ability to provide the leadership & management to ensure the company has the processes, reporting procedures, people and systems in place to facilitate continued growth and retention. The ideal candidate will come from a light or heavy automotive dealership Service Manager position and have a good technical skill set. Just as importantly you will have a good understanding of analysing and interpreting reports, identifying relevant information for quality improvement.
A competitive salary is on offer plus commission (based on bottom line) plus a car allowance.
