To continue their journey in developing the Australian market, they have created a new position in Melbourne for an experienced Sales and Marketing Manager. This role will drive the development and strategic management of their channel partners by optimising existing relationships as well as growing the network across Australia. This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious and experienced Parts Sales leader to join this exciting automotive brand. Reporting to the Area Manager Oceania, you will be given the support and guidance needed to be successful in your role. The right attitude and a willingness to improve yourself will be crucial to success with this organisation. You will also work closely with the broader team both in Australia and overseas. You will have complete autonomy to deliver sales outcomes within your assigned region. You will be armed with a strong brand, an excellent reputation in the market and you will utilise these to forge strong, commercially viable, long-term ongoing business relationships.
The successful candidate will have at least 3 – 5 years automotive supply/product sales experience with exposure to selling technical products and offering solutions to leverage new sales opportunities. You will have experience in, and passion for, a mechanical industry or trade based sales role and have a great attitude and ability to build rapport quickly with workshops and automotive distributors. In addition, you will have a thorough understanding of who the major players are and be able to identify new products to capture the market. As this is a developing division in Australia, you will be able to manage the customer process from end to end. A high level of PC skills will be required that include managing SAP software, Excel, Power Point and other electronic cataloguing systems.
This position will be based in Dandenong, however, domestic travel will be required with some international trips to attend training and conferences. The salary for this role will start at approx. $85,000 plus Super with a generous incentive scheme, car, and tools of the trade.
