Our client is a well established, nationally represented Tyre and Repair business located in Sydney's inner western suburbs. They are seeking to appoint an Assistant Manager to control office and workshop operations, and to occasionally assist on the floor in very busy times. The business offers security of tenure and a friendly working environment. The business trades Monday to Friday plus Saturday mornings, and the successful applicant will need to work every 2nd Saturday.
YOU'LL NEED
Applicants for this position MUST be fully qualified mechanics and have been in a supervisory, customer facing role in the past. Experience in the Tyre industry will be an advantage but is not a requirement. You will be totally reliable, have people-handling and organizational skills, and strive to achieve total customer satisfaction. Applicants with Workshop Management, Service Advising or Tyre Store Management experience are encouraged to apply.
THE OFFER
Salary on offer will be negotiable up to $40 per hour. An automatic 4.5 hours overtime is guaranteed every week, plus Saturday work will be paid additionally at overtime rates. For the right candidate, a Bonus Structure, E-Tag and / or Fuel Allowance may be offered.
