Our client is a modern well situated new car dealership in Brisbane's inner northern suburbs, and is part of a larger Group. They have a vacancy for an experienced Assistant Sales Manager seeking a satisfying role. The dealership offers security of tenure, a strong income stream, career advancement opportunities through the Group, and a friendly working atmosphere. The successful applicant will work a 5 day week, with Sundays and one weekday off. Saturday work is mandatory. You will help manage a young dynamic team by giving them support when needed, and maintain a positive environment. Some responsibilities will be:

YOU'LL NEED

Taking charge of Yard changes- Getting the team together and making sure the yard is looking good at all times
Delegating certain tasks i.e. brochures in windows, stickers on windows etc
Helping the team with the process if not done correctly
Making sure we have the right stock on the yard
Making sure all vehicles online have photos
Helping the team with negotiations when the sales manager is away
Working with the sales manager on new launches and marketing

THE OFFER

Applicants for this position must have current or previous experience gained as an Assistant Sales Manager or Senior Sales Consultant in a new car dealership environment. You will have strong sales, closing and people-handling skills, be seeking a long term role and have the drive and energy to succeed.

Salary for this role will consist of a retainer to $60k (depending on previous experience), super, a weekly commission paid on finance, aftermarket, trades and surveys, a monthly target based bonus and car.Interested and suitably qualified applicants should apply through this site.
