Our client is a leading Australian manufacturer and supplier of vehicle-mounted emergency warning products, proudly serving the public safety sector. Operating from a new, purpose-built facility, the company is in an exciting phase of growth as it expands its operations across Australia. We’re looking for a driven and results-focused Production Supervisor to step into a hands-on leadership position within our team. Reporting directly to the Production Manager and ultimately to the Managing Director, you’ll lead from the front—working shoulder to shoulder with the production crew to ensure our high standards are consistently met. This isn’t a desk job. You’ll be on the floor, organising and supervising day-to-day operations, overseeing a diverse range of products, and ensuring quality control is carried out during and after production. Success in this role means delivering quality work on time, every time, in a safe and efficient manner.

YOU'LL NEED
Time management and KPI execution are essential, as is the ability to drive the team to meet strict deadlines and adapt to any challenges that arise. You’ll also be responsible for monitoring and reporting time variances throughout the day, assisting with scheduling, and ensuring production flows smoothly. Working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, you’ll need to forecast potential issues, recover from delays, and capture learnings to improve future processes. Data analysis and spreadsheet reporting are part of the daily routine, so being comfortable with numbers is key. You'll be expected to understand evolving product lines, interpret customer requirements accurately, and ensure the final output meets or exceeds expectations.

THE OFFER
To thrive in this role, you must have solid leadership skills, guiding and motivating your team while maintaining professionalism with both staff and external stakeholders. A background in manufacturing or logistics will give you a strong foundation, especially if you’ve worked with lean manufacturing principles or ISO9001 systems. Attention to detail, problem-solving, and adaptability are essential traits. You should be highly organised, with the ability to manage schedules, track progress, and respond swiftly to any disruptions.

APPLY NOW
Strong communication skills are crucial—whether you're giving clear instructions to your team, providing feedback, or liaising with clients. A customer-oriented mindset will help you understand and deliver on expectations. A proactive approach to identifying improvements and maintaining a positive, can-do attitude will go a long way. Emotional intelligence will also be important, as it helps foster a productive, respectful, and collaborative environment on the floor. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career within a well-established and expanding business. You’ll be part of a supportive, approachable management team that values your contribution and commitment. The role offers real stability, a clear path for growth, and the benefit of a 9-day fortnight—giving you every second Friday off. If you're ready to lead from the front and make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you.Interested and suitably qualified applicants should click apply.
